Aribo’s Market Value Rises To €6.5m

Nigerian international midfielder Joe Aribo’s market value has increased by nearly 100% as the Rangers of Scotland star is now worth €6.5m on current market value, according to transfermarkt.

Aribo has been in sensational form since he ditched English lower league side, Charlton Athletic for the Glasgow giants, scoring nine times and bagging 12 assists in 52 league games for Steven Gerrad’s side.

Last term, he scored six times as Rangers ended Celtic’s nine consecutive reign as Scottish Premier League champions.

Overall in two seasons, the Nigerian has scored 17 times in 91 appearances in all competitions and his stock started rising in August 2019 after he joined Rangers.

The Nigerian rose to his highest market value in January when he was valued at €3.5m, up from €1m he was worth in July 2020.

Aribo’s stock rose once again on Monday and he is now valued at €6.5m.

Meanwhile, Aribo’s compatriot at Rangers Leon Balogun’s market value remain unchanged as he is still valued at just under €1m (8000k euros).

In Spain, Kenneth Omeruo’s market value is also unchanged as the Super Eagles defender is still valued at €2m for the third consecutive review.

Former Nigeria youth international Kelechi Nwakali who featured in the Spanish second division for the second half of last season with Alcoron is now worth €1m, up by 300k euros he was valued early this year.

Another former Nigerian youth international, Ramon Azeez is now worth less than €1m after his value depreciated by 300k euros between March and June this year.
