Arsenal fans are furious that Diogo Jota’s first Liverpool goal was not ruled out for a handball in the build-up.
The Gunners fell to a 3-1 defeat at Anfield on Monday night and Jota netted in the 87th minute to secure victory.
He cushioned the ball with his chest just outside the area and fired a shot into the bottom left corner. But some camera angles make the ball look like it brushes the Portuguese winger’s arm as he attempts to control it.
VAR did not intervene to check the goal and after a weekend of handball controversy, fans were angry with the lack of consistency.
