Well, this will be a truly intriguing summer for Arsenal. No matter
what happens between now and the end of the season, the Gunners will be
at a big test of how they will approach the transfer market. There is
not much money at Arsenal these days in terms of transfer budgets and
last summer they already overspent on Nicolas Pepe.
But this summer if they want to sign some players, they will first
have to raise money in order to fund them. That is what the Daily Mail
are also counting on, as they believe Arsenal could sell up to three
players just to get one in. According to their report, Mikel Arteta will
be happy to let go Mesut Ozil, Matteo Guendouzi and Sokratis
Papastathopoulos leave in order to finance the summer signing of Orkan
Kokcu from Feyenoord.
The Gunners are leading the race to sign the youngster and Arteta
wants to bring in the promising 19-year-old, but this will be a really
tricky road for them, as their squad is already very thin.
