Yobe State Governor and Chairman APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee Mai Mala Buni has consoled the family members of late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru.
He gave his condolences when he visited the family. He also visited President Muhammadu Buhari. Buni was accompanied by the Governors of Ekiti and Niger States, Kayode Fayemi and Mohammed Sani Bello.
The team also visited the family of the late Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru who died in a plane crash last Friday alongside 10 other military officers to condole them over their loss. Mamman Mohammed, the Director Press and Media Affairs to Yobe State Governor said the governors who represented the Governors Forum, prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased officers.
They also asked God to grant families of the deceased, the President and Nigerians the fortitude to bear the monumental loss.
