Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang breaks Arsenal record held by Thierry Henry in 4-0 big win over Norwich City in the Premier League encounter at Emirate Stadium on Wednesday night.

The 31-year-old Gabonese striker has enjoyed another prolific campaign despite a turbulent season for the north London club and is in contention to land a second successive Golden Boot.

Aubameyangopened the scoring in tonight’s night’s fixture with Norwich City after profiting from a horrendous error from Canaries ‘keeper Tim Krul to roll into an empty net for his 50th in just 79 league appearances to reach the milestone in four fewer games than Arsenal legend Thierry Henry since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.

Gunners’ top scorer then turned provider as he was released by Kieran Tierney and cut the ball back for Granit Xhaka to sweep past Krul his first club goal since March 2019 before Aubameyang added the third after a mistake by Josip Drmic.

Substitute Cedric Soares completed the rout after scoring from outside the penalty area four minutes after coming on for his debut for Mikel Arteta side

Norwich, six points from safety with six games left, hit the woodwork through Ben Godfrey when the game was goalless, while Emiliano Martinez produced a fine save to keep out Kenny McLean’s free-kick.
