Back in 2019, Clyde FC 50-year old manager Danny Lennon subbed himself on against Celtic Colts (Celtic reserve team) in a Glasgow Cup match.

Due to injury crisis, Clyde FC had a depleted bench and Lennon had to briefly come out of retirement in the 76th minute to help his team win.

Clyde won the game 3-1.
