The Lagos State Government had put Restrictions in designated areas to curb the second wave of Covid19 threatening the country but the market women are not barking down. They sing and dance to the live band brought to the market.
Buyers and passersby were seen among the dancing crowd. Despite a very difficult year for the country we still find time to celebrate.
Lagos state senior aid to the government Joe igbokwe shared the video.
He wrote:
‘BALOGUN MARKET IN LAGOS ISLAND YESTERDAY. HAPPY PEOPLE , GLORIOUS PEOPLE. THIS IS LAGOS. NOBODY WILL STEAL OUR HAPPINESS. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.’
