Barca Set To Rival Real & Man Utd For Inter Milan Defeder
Barcelona is set to rival Real Madrid and Manchester United for the signature Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, according to report.
Skriniar, 24, has been on the radar of European top clubs with Manchester United also monitoring the situation, with report in Italy suggesting that Real Madrid and Barcelona are in the race to secure the services of the Slovakian defender.According to Corriere Dello Sport, both clubs are likely to make a move for Antonio Conte’s man in January, with a summer switch the most probable outcome.
Skriniar has been up against Barcelona twice and his performance was impressive and it has not gone unnoticed by the Camp Not directors.Samuel Umtiti’s re-occurring injuries are a major concern for the La Liga Champions and they see Skriniar as an ideal replacement for Gerard Pique who is gradually approaching the twilight of his career at Barcelona.Skriniar signed a contract with the Italian club last season, and reports in Italy say that no release clause was included in the new deal.
Only a big-money offer will tempt Inter to part ways with their defensive star. Solskjaer is looking for an option to pair up with summer signing Harry Maguire, who joined United from Leicester for £80million, a world-record fee for a defender.
