Barcelona Confirm Suarez Injury
Barcelona has confirmed Luis Suarez injury after the attacker was forced off in the 3-1 defeat against Levante on Saturday.
The Uruguayan forward underwent a test to confirm the nature of the injury, the club doctors confirmed that he suffered a calf injury but they did not reveal when the striker will be back to fitness.”Tests carried out have shown that Luis Suárez has a right calf injury,” the club said.
“Therefore, he is presently not available for selection and his recovery will dictate his return to action.”Barça’s No.9 started against Levante (3-1), but was replaced by Carles Perez. During his time on the pitch, Suarez had one chance that was saved by Levante goalkeeper Aitor Fernandez. The Uruguayan was unable to add to his impressive record this season of eight goals in twelve games.”
