Barcelona are set to distribute medical equipment around Catalonia.
Through their FC Barcelona Foundation, the club have reached an agreement with Tencent – a Chinese multinational company – to provide sanitary and medical equipment around the region in the face of the coronavirus.
A first batch of 15,000 units of protective equipment was already distributed on Sunday and will be filtered through hospitals and medical centres.
This is just the first in a series of shipments that the Chinese company have promised to make.
According to the Catalan club, the equipment meet the requirements which allows it to be used in Intensive Care Units.
