Bayern Munich To Play Paris Saint-Germain In Champions League Final After Beating Lyon

Bayern Munich will play Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final after beating Lyon on Wednesday.

The German champions booked their spot in Sunday’s final after easing past Lyon 3-0 in Lisbon.

Serge Gnabry scored a first-half brace with Robert Lewandowski bagging his side’s third as Bayern secure passage to the Champions League final.

The ex-Arsenal winger put his side in front in spectacular style as he dribbled his way into shooting range before unleashing a terrific strike into the top corner.

He then added a second in the 33rd minute following a scramble in the Lyon penalty area.

Lewandowski made it 3-0 in the 88th minute after heading home Joshua Kimmich’s free-kick.

Hans-Dieter Flick’s team are on course for a remarkable treble, having already won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal titles this season.

Bayern will play PSG, who beat RB Leipzig on Tuesday, in the Champions League final on Sunday.

This will be Bayern’s first appearance in a Champions League final since 2013 when they won the competition, beating Borussia Dortmund 2-1 at Wembley Stadium.
