Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Yousef, has opened up about his relationship status and the things he needs in a relationship.
According to him, he enjoys being in an open relationship since it affords him the time to be himself. Yousef had a chat with Arin on Tuesday and Arin was curious to know about the relationship status of Yousef.
Yousef said: “I just like to try my options. I don’t like to take it as far as being committed. I don’t want to take it that far.
“It’s just like you’ve been dating people for long but you’re not sure you’re gonna marry her and she’s not sure she’s gonna marry you, and then time is going.”
Arin retorted and asked him if he was ever going to settle down with his lover.
Yousef replied, ‘I wouldn’t mind if I met my soulmate. I’ll just go with the flow if it comes because I want to marry young; as young as possible.
Arin further asked, “Will you entertain an open marriage?”
Yousef replied and explained how jealous he becomes when he wants to go into a serious relationship with ladies.
He said: “It’s because of my jealousy. I’m so jealous and have been into a relationship that got me jealous and I was like ‘Is she cheating on me?’ I was so worried,”
In that case, it wasn’t pretty for me. So I just decided if I was going to have a relationship and I want to settle with that person, I’ve already gotten to a place where I will know in three months or less because I just want to make it as fast as possible.
“Like I’ve met you, I’ve known you, this is who you are. And three to six months is actually enough for me to know that.”
