Big Brother Naija organizers have apologized for taking sides in the intriguing love triangle involving Erica, Laycon and Kidwayya.
In an article posted on its official site, Big Brother sympathized with Laycon, stating that “with each passing day, his preferred partner drifts deeper into another man’s arms”.
It also said “take a look at the man Erica chose to give heart to, Kiddwaya.”
This stirred up a backlash among fans of the reality show.
However, on Sunday, a statement was posted on their verified Twitter page to clear the air.
“Well, that was embarrassing! We admit we got a little too carried away and we let our emotions get the best of us. Please remember that the power, as always, remains in your hands.
“The winner of BBNaija is purely determined by the votes of the fans, so keep voting your favorite Housemate to remain in the competition. Tune in to the LIVE show at 7pm to see who goes home today,” it read.
