Borussia Dortmund Want Werner
According to a recent report from Sport Bild, German giants Borussia Dortmund have approached RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner in order to try and secure a potential transfer for the 23 year old. However, despite this, he is only said to be interested in the idea of joining Bayern Munich – which doesn’t seem like it’s going to be a realistic possibility until at least next summer.
Werner is widely considered to be one of the most exciting young forwards in all of world football today, but it still feels like he’s quite some distance off of where he wants to be in terms of reaching that next level. If he did change his mind and decided to move to Dortmund, a lot of fans believe that he’d be able to transform himself into a player that is more than capable of scoring at least twenty goals per season.
Either way, it’s a good position to be in.
