Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Call Off Custody Trial

Everything you need to live well

At one point in time, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie used to be a favourite Hollywood couple of many until they split in 2016.

Things got messy when a custody battle for their six children began but now there is good news on that front.

It is learnt that with just two days for them to go to trial. Pitt and Jolie have announced that they struck a custody agreement to avoid battling it out in front of a judge. The initial disagreement was Jolie wanting full physical custody while Pitt wanted a 50/50 joint custody.

Yesterday, November 30, Jolie’s lawyer, Samantha Bley DeJean announced,

“A custody arrangement was agreed 2 weeks ago, and has been signed by both parties and the judge.” She added the agreement is “based on the recommendations of the child custody evaluator.”

The terms of the deal are confidential but what is important is that there will be no trial.

The former lovebirds still have other issues to hash out however as there are still issues like property settlement to settle considering they didn’t have a prenup when they got married. They have filed documents asking the judge to give them until next June to work on those things out.
