Building collapse in Enugu claims four siblings.

Tragic events occurred at Mgbemena, a Coal Camp neighborhood of the Enugu State capital, when a building collapsed and killed four of the same parents’ children.

On Friday night, it was reported that the 44-room flat in the Agric Quarters in Mgbemena, Coal Camp, Enugu North Local Government Area, fell.

The incident was confirmed by the Enugu Capital Territory Development Agency, which called it regrettable.

Mr. Uche Anya, the agency’s chairman, told reporters on Saturday shortly after seeing the collapse site that the building had been certified for animal husbandry but had been converted to residential use.

Anya said that the edifice contains 44 rooms and lamented that it was not fit for human habitation.
