Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning musician from Nigeria, had to postpone his much-anticipated live performance because the promoters failed to uphold their end of the bargain.
On September 23, Burna was supposed to perform live at Johannesburg, South Africa’s FNB Stadium.
Buran’s declaration follows Ticket Pro’s announcement on Wednesday that the highly anticipated performance would be postponed due to, among other things, a “lack of ticket” sales.
We regret to inform you that the much-anticipated Burna Boy performance, planned to take place at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on September 23, 2023, has been postponed.
“The concert will now be held on December 16, 2023.
“This decision was not made lightly by the promoter and comes as a result of careful consideration and assessment of various factors, including the lack of ticket sales,” according to the statement from Ticket Pro.
