Preamble
The struggle for parental presence in the current times in many homes is assuming an astronomical dimension. Even while some parents strive to be at home, in many cases they are largely at the height of emotional disconnect that is opening the gate to widespread addiction, failures and current trend of delinquencies registered in our children. As parents, we must not lose the fight. We must hone, harness and hook the next generation of leaders to their connection mode. . We must help pull out the future within them and put in their hands the life batons for effective navigation
Losing a leadership generation to infractions and wide spread addiction becomes an experiential stuff when we perform so well in the corporate place but fall short in the private and family life. We risk the loss of a critical mass of generation of leaders, if we do not arrest the debilitating trend in the parent-children development drive.
OUR CURRENT CHALLENGE
– Many parents are losing the grip over their children right under their “nose”
– The challenge and the negative side of the digital world and social media is fast turning our children to accidental miscreants
– The rat race for survival and daily living is making many parents to abscond from parental responsibilities
– The modern ‘transfer’ of values from home to the schools by psychedelic parents who may be sometimes are front line moguls in the enterprising place
– The “handling over” of critical “parental soft skills” to Helps and Care givers by absenting fathers and visiting parents to their own homes
– The waiting game by some parents creates the gap or the wasted time under the guise of their being children to commence training, formation and functions
– The absence of role modeling from home making the children to look out to role models they never met or interact with across the net
– The definition – default dichotomy is widening by the day
– The adventurous youth culture from the Inside out is posing a threat to many parents
