The Los Angeles Lakers defeated The Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of The Western Conference Finals, the much anticipated Game saw Anthony Davis leading The Lakers to victory with a superb performance.
The Game which many tagged as “Battle of Bigmen” saw Anthony Davis smiling at the end of the day as he finished the game with a crucial Double-double and also securing the win for The Lakers.
Anthony Davis finished with 31 PTS, 10 REB & 4 AST while Four times MVP Lebron James also got a Double-double scoring 15 PTS, Grabbing 6 REB and Dishing out 12 AST, support also came from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope who scored 18 PTS followed by Dwight Howard and Kyle Kuzman scoring 13 PTs and 11 PTS respectively.
Nikola Jokic who also went into a fierce battle with Anthony Davis scored 21 PTS, 6 REB, 2 AST & 1 BLKS followed by Jamal Murray with 21 PTS, 1 REB & 5 AST and Michael Porter jr. with 14 PTS, 10 REB, 4 AST & 1 STLS.
The Lakers lead the series 1 – 0 and The Nuggets will hope to bounce back in game 2 as they have been the comeback team of the NBA coming back twice this season from a 3 – 1 deficit to win series in The Playoffs.
