An Ekiti State Chief Magistrate’s Court has ordered two men, 24-year-old Olamide Ebenezar and 31-year-old Kolade Oladipo to be remanded in a correctional centre for allegedly scaling a fence to sexually violate a 16-year-old girl in her mother’s house.

The court gave the order on Wednesday, October 6, after a prosecutor, E.S. Atane, of the Department of State Services, brought an ex-parte motion before the court for the remand of the defendants in custody pending the completion of the security agency’s investigation.

Atane said the detention would also allow for the “onward transmission of the duplicate case file to the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for legal advice”.

The charge filed against the suspects reads in part;
