Davido Becomes The First Nigerian To Be On The Comedy Central Roast Panel

Davido will soon make history as the first Nigerian to feature on Comedy Central Roast.

The Assurance crooner will be part of the panel roasting South African comedian ‘AKA’.

“I’m
such a big fan of Comedy Central, this is going to be a hilarious
night. I’m ready, Africa are you ready? This is a Roast so nothing is
off limits!” he said in a statement released by organisers.

Other
panellists to feature on the show alongside Davido are Pierre, Moshe,
Francois Van Coke, Mark Fish, Nina Hastie, Moonchild Sanelly, Joey
Rasdien, Papa Penny with Pearl Thusi acting as roast master.

Comedy Central
is an American pay television channel owned by Viacom Global
Entertainment Group, owners of MTV, VH1, and Nickelodeon. The channel is
geared for mature audiences and carries comedy programming in the form
of both original, licensed, and syndicated series and stand-up comedy
specials, as well as feature films.

event, which is organised by Comedy Central and Showmax, is scheduled
to hold at The Teatro at Montecasino, Johannesburg, South Africa
