In a recent interview with GQ, the afrobeats musician Davido said that he prays to win the Grammys every day.
Remember that Davido had three nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards.
His singles “Unavailable” and “Feel” were nominated for Best African Music Performance and Best Global Music Performance, respectively, and his fourth studio album, “Timeless,” was nominated for Best Global Music Album.
Alongside Burna Boy, Arooj Aftab, Silvana Estrada, Béla Fleck, Falu, and Gaurav Shah, Davido is vying for the title of Best Global Music Performance.
He would also compete for the award of Best Global Music Album against Bokante, Susana Baca, Burna Boy, and Shakti.
He stated in a recent interview:
“Everybody knows what one of my prayer points is now. I have been nominated for three Grammys. So, everybody knows what I am praying for every day I wake up.”
