The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, has warned Nigerians not to trust any candidate that plays religious politics.
He made this call during his speech at the Arewa Joint Committee interactive session with presidential candidates today in Kaduna.

The former vice president said:
“I want to caution Nigerians, anybody who comes to start talking to you about religion in politics, don’t trust that person. I don’t advise you to trust that person.
He also promised to protect all Nigerians, irrespective of ethnicity and religion, when he voted in as president.
I pledge to protect the interest of all Nigerians, irrespective of their ethnicity & religion…I pledge that I will restore security in this country.”
