The injunction given by Ebonyi High Court today, seeks to achieve the impossible. How can a completed act be reversed by an exparte order? What res is the Court preserving? At best, a proper hearing should be held & all parties heard on the merit.
The suit is such an incompetent one that any careful observer can easily see that it is designed to further enrich Gov. Dave Umahi’s elder brother (Roy Umahi) who has become the only lawyer handling all Ebonyi State legal briefs.
The Caretaker Committee is unfazed by this act & will continue to discharge its responsibilities while the order is to be appealed out of courtesy for the Judiciary. The @OfficialPDPNig cannot be silenced in Ebonyi State. Ebonyi State is PDP, hence the fears of the decampees.
