Tottenham Hotspurs boss, Mauricio Pochettino has disclosed that he has a very good relationship with Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with the Red Devils on Monday night.
Pochettino, however, said he has full respect for Mourinho but Spurs are going to beat United at Old Trafford.
United head to the game following a 3-2 loss to Brighton last weekend, while Spurs defeated Fulham 3-1 at home.
“I have a very good relationship with Mou [Jose Mourinho] from when I was manager in Espanyol,” Pochettino was quoted by Football.London as saying at pre-match press conference.
“And of course I have full respect for him and for the club, to Manchester United. We are only going to be there Monday to win the game and most important thing is the three points.
“We are only there to try and play football. Football is a game, it is to enjoy and be better than them,” he added.
The kick off time for the match is 8pm.
