Manchester United star, Paul Pogba was spotted deep in conversation with Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi on Friday night.
Pogba was not featured in Manchester United’s 3-1 loss to city rivals, Manchester City before the international break due to a small injury and was subsequently excluded from Les Bleus’ latest squad.
The Frenchman has used the time off to holiday in Dubai, where he met Messi and his wife at Salt Bae’s Turkish steakhouse
The pair posed for pictures and spoke for a long time together, with Pogba conversing with Messi in fluent Spanish
One of the topics of conversation was France’s World Cup chant for N’Golo Kante.
The chant has a line which says “He (Kante) stopped Leo Messi.”
Messi laughed out loud when Pogba mentioned it before gesturing and saying, “That’s a lie!”
