Former Super Eagles goalkeeper and now a trainer with the national team, Alloy Agu has thrown his weight behind Vincent Enyeama to make a success of a coaching career if he decides to go that way.

Enyeama, Nigeria’s most capped player unceremoniously left the national team after a misunderstanding with former manager Sunday Oliseh.

Having failed to return to action with the Super Eagles and also at club level, there are insinuations that Enyeama is considering going into coaching and for Agu, that would be a fantastic move since he believes greatly in the abilities of Enyeama

“Of course Enyeama can excel as a Goalkeeper Trainer if he chose to try his luck in that field. Good enough, he was one of our best goalkeepers when he was actively involved in football.” Agu told FCNaija

He continued: “I believe the decision is his. Vincent has what it takes to be one of the best goalkeeper trainers.

“I know footballers don’t like going into full-time coaching, but a very good goalkeeper like Vincent will be a huge blessing to Nigerian football if he chose to become a trainer.

Interestingly, Enyeama is also nursing the same idea of helping in producing those that would step into the vacuum he created with his sudden departure from both club and national team.
