Super Eagles star, Prince Aggreh has expressed great delight after helping Al-Muharraq SC beat Hidd 1-0 to win the King’s Cup in Bahrain, FCNaija can report.

The exciting winger joined the team regarded as one of the most successful club in that region, having won 34 league titles and a record 32 Cup victories. But the Nigerian embraced the challenge as he helped the club to a historic 33rd King’s Cup title for the first time since 2014 – making it an unprecedented 33rd crown.

Speaking exclusively with FCNaija, Prince Aggreh revealed: ‘I’m delighted with the Cup win. It is the first for me at the club and I hope many more during my stay at the club.

‘I love it here already and the support I’ve received from the players, Coaches, management and fans have been amazing. The ground staffs also have been amazing and I want to repaid all their confidence and trust in me by winning more laurels for the club.’

Aggreh, who scored three goals and had two assists for Al-Muharraq SC during the King’s Cup celebrated with a special jersey with the no.58 boldly written on it.

‘I dedicate the Cup win to my father in the lord David Ibiyomie of salvation ministry church. He turned 58 this October – a month I won a major trophy for my new club,’ the former CHAN Eagles star explains.

‘Pastor Ibiyomie is one man that brings me closer to my dream with prayers, advice and mentor-ship. So, I call him my father because he loves me so much.’
