Napoli have begun work to ensure Fabian Ruiz stays in their kit next season. He has been heavily linked to Real Madrid but the president of the Italian club, Antonio de Laurentiis, has made a big offer of a contract improvement.
Fabian’s new deal would see his salary rise substantially, with a new contract until 2025. The player’s release clause would rise to 100 million euros if he signed, making it hard for another club to snatch him.
Per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Barca have been interested in him too. If Fabian Ruiz accepts the offer, Napoli can rest easy – at least for this summer. One player who might leave is defender Koulibaly, who has a lot of suitors.
