An incredible video of Gareth Bale at his peak has emerged and it shows how much he is being wasted at Real Madrid.

The Welshman joined Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur back in 2013 for a then world record fee of £86 million.

Bale’s time in the Spanish capital has soured recently and it looks like the club are eager to get him off the books.

@LaLigaFrauds have created a compilation of Bale’s performances in the 2012/2013 season for Spurs, the season before his huge move abroad.

At 23-years-old, Bale helped carry Spurs to a fifth place finish while scoring 26 goals in all competitions.

Internationally, the former Southampton man became Wales’ focal point and it’s a spot he remains in to this day.

He was also named in UEFA’s Team of the Year and won the PFA Player of the Year award.

Fans have reacted to the video and they’re desperate to see Bale perform at the top level once again.

Bale recently admitted he has tried to leave Madrid on numerous occasions – with the club preventing his departure at the last moment.

“I think the club needs to answer that question because I tried to leave last year,” Bale told Sky Sports.

“They blocked everything at the last second. It was a project I was excited for last year but it didn’t materialise.

“There have been other instances where I have tried to go but the club won’t allow it or they have done something.

“It’s for the club. What can I say? I want to play football. I’m still motivated to play football. I guess it’s on the club. I can’t do much. They are in control of everything.

“I have a contract and all I can do is carry on with what I am doing and hopefully something comes up. It’s in the club’s hands.”

Do you think Gareth Bale will ever recapture his form?
