The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped three places in the latest edition of the monthly FIFA rankings released Thursday.

Gernot Rohr’s men who were last month ranked 29th in the world have now slipped to the 32nd position

The Super Eagles who also were the formerlly the third-highest ranked African team have now been overtaken by the Desert Foxes of Algeria.

Not many would be surprised by Nigeria’s slip on the FIFA Rankings going by the results they recorded in their friendly games against Algeria and Tunisia.betpay & google ads

For Tunisia who forced Nigeria to a 1-1 draw also in Algeria, they maintained their ranking as the world’s number 26th team as well as Africa’s second-highest ranked team only behind Senegal.

Morocco, Ghana, Egypt Cameroon, Mali, and Burkina Faso in that order completes the roster of Africa’s top 10 teams for October.

Belgium, France, Brazil, England and Portugal remain the top five teams in the world.
