Fishermen Captures, Kill Hippotamus In Kebbi Community

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has formed a committee to study and make a full report on the closure of Nigerian land borders.

A hippopotamus has been trapped and killed by fishermen in Samanaji town in Koko Besse Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

The huge aquatic animal was killed for wrecking havoc on farmlands in the area.

According to local report, teams of fishermen who have been trailing and monitoring its movement for sometimes killed the sea animal.

Samanaji town is situated on the banks of River Niger.
