Five Teenage Girls Dead In Escape Room Fire In Poland
Five teenage girls, who were celebrating a birthday have lost their lives after a fire broke out at an escape room venue, in Poland
The fire started while the teens were visiting the attraction in the
city of Koszalin, killing all five girls and seriously injuring a
25-year-old man.
The condition of the injured man is currently unknown.
Authorities
have not yet said what may have caused the fire, but following the
tragic incident health and safety checks are being carried out on every
escape room in the country.
Interior Minister Joachim Brudzinski told broadcaster TVN24:
“The victims of this tragedy are 15-year-old children, girls celebrating a birthday.”
Brudziński then shared his condolences in a tweet, he said:
“I want to express my sympathy and regrets to the families of the victims of the fire.”
