Forgotten Super Eagles Striker Quits Greek Super League Club

Forgotten Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye has quit Greek Super League club Aris Thessaloniki after announcing his departure from Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium. 

The 31-year-old Nigeria international Yellow-Blacks last summer on a one-year deal from Chinese Super League side Tianjin Teda.

Ideye departed Aris Thessaloniki after failing to reach an agreement with the club with his contract to an end took his to his social media sends a farewell message.

The 2013 African cup of Nations winner made over 30 appearances for Aris Thessaloniki and scored 11 goals for them in all competitions.

His contributions helped Aris secure qualification for next season’s UEFA Europa League and his now free to join any team of his choice as a free agent.

Ideye has worn the colours of teams based in Switzerland, France, Ukraine, England, Greece, and China since he left the NPFL outfit in 2008.
