French star, Franck Ribery has expressed his disappointments after his house was burgled and has warned that he may leave Fiorentina as a result of it.
The 37-year-old injured his ankle on Sunday during Fiorentina’s 2-1 victory against Parma but the pain of losing some belonging and his family feeling unsafe made it worse for the former Bayern Munich star.
“When I returned from the victory over Parma, I went home,” he wrote on Instagram. “This ‘home’ in Italy, a country where I decided to continue my career after so many beautiful years in Munich.
“This is what I discovered … So yes, my wife lost some bags, some jewellery but Alhamdulillah none of it was essential. What shocks me is this feeling of having my pants down. I’m not having any of it!
Fiorentina are currently placed 13th on the Serie A log with 34 points and host Cagliari on Wednesday.
