Things are not looking too good for injured Super Eagles midfielder, Joe Aribo after the hardworking star was missing from Glasgow Rangers’ Wednesday training.
The young midfielder was expected back in the squad ahead of this weekend Premier League clash against Dundee United, but his absence in training sparked fresh injury fears among the club faithful.
Aribo have been sidelined for three weeks and will also be missing in action when Gers engage Dundee on Saturday, but Rangers’ fans are beginning to grow grey hairs over his prolong injury which was initially expected to last for a week. The Ibrox side may have been winning games in his absence, it is no gainsaying that Aribo‘s creativity was missing in the final third. Sadly, Gerrard’s silence on Aribo‘s injury update further laid credence to the fact that the Nigerian could be destined for a long spell in the physio room. The Light Blues face Mickey Mellon’s side on Saturday as they look set to continue their fairytale run and extend their unbeaten run this season. Most importantly, the club will also attempt to add another clean sheet to the club-record six picked up this season.
