‘Girls Can Fly’: Tolulope Arotile Honoured In Comic Book (photos)

Igbere TV reports that Nigeria’s first female combat helicopter pilot Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile has been honoured in a comic book.

The book Girls Can Fly was launched on Friday with her parents in attendance.

Also in attendance were the Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed and a representative of the Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar.

“She represents the best & the height our youth can attain. Even in death she is a champ,” a tweet by Gboyega Akosile chief press secretary to Lagos State governor read.

Also present at the event themed ‘My Nigerian Dream’ was the Minister of Women Affairs Pauline Tallen.
