Anambra Governorship hopeful, multiple degree holder, doctorate honours, and CEO of Las Vegas Pain Institute, Dr. Godwin Maduka has demonstrated his support of goodwill and good politics for the people of Anambra state, as he attends the grand opening and handover of Archbishop Valerian Okeke Music Academy, built by Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo, an APC Chieftain in Anambra state to empower musical arts in the state.

The arrival of Dr. Godwin Maduka to the handover ceremony of Archbishop Valerian Okeke Music Academy (AVOMA), at Cathedral Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha on the 20th of December 2020, was indeed overwhelming and it attracted massive jubilation from Ndi Anambra who were present at the colourful event.

Dr. Maduka therefore commended the efforts of Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo for his exceptional generosity and kindness in the construction of a music Academy in Anambra state for “Ndi Anambra”. The appearance of the Lion of Africa and Okosisi of Orumba has been described as a democratic and sincere quality of a good leader, with emphasis on his objective engagements for Ndi Anambra regardless of the differences in party membership.

The handover ceremony however recorded the presence of several prominent personalities including celebrities, public figures, social groups, women associations and other renowned individuals, some of which includes popular Entertainers like Patoranking, Flavour and amongst other AVOMA Artists. Speaking during the Event, Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo stated that there is no greater joy than seeing a dream come to fruition in a record time. He however expressed gratitude to Almighty God for according him the grace to become a tool of blessing for the upliftment of young children gifted in the Art of Music.

Chief Johnbosco also stated that AVOMA is non-denominational gospel Institution, where young people from all walks of life irrespective of religious affiliation could be trained under the auspices of the Archbishop. He therefore thanked God Almighty for providing the funds for this project despite the way the year turned out, especially the COVID-induced lockdown. He says, “I believe in sowing in pain as the multiplying effect is exhilarating”.
