Governor Amosun’s Aide Dies In Auto Crash

Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s aide, Adeniyi Adesanya, died in an auto crash, while the Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Taiwo Adeoluwa, was reportedly injured.

The incident occurred on Friday evening at Siun-Kobape along
Sagamu-Abeokuta road. It was gathered that Adeoluwa and Adesanya were on
a state assignment before the ugly incident happened.

Adeoluwa
reportedly sustained a severe injury and has been rushed to the Federal
Medical Centre, Idi -Aba, Abeokuta and has been transferred to the
Intensive care unit of the FMC, while the remains of Adesanya who was
popularly called ‘friend of the governor’ have been deposited at the
hospital morgue.

Mr Clement Oladele, the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps
(FRSC) in Ogun, confirming the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria
(NAN) in Abeokuta said he could not immediately say what caused the
accident but said the SSG was at the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta,
receiving treatment.

“The crash occurred around Day Water Man College, close to Kobape, Abeokuta.

“The SSG is responding to medical treatment and he is about being discharged from the hospital.

“I actually spoke with him and he is recuperating well,” Oladele said.
