Their has been sporadic shooting around Federal Polytechnic Oko campus in Anambra, which has led to the death of one and a gun injury to another, making students run helter skelter for safety as the shooting continued unabated.IGBERE TV authoritatively report.
The
incidence IGBERE TV report happened around FCMB Bank, close to the
popular Tipper Road, witnessed some gun wielding men, who alighted from a
motor bike shooting all round, sending students crowded along the
bank’s ATM running for safety, including those walking along the ever
busy road, which traverse the two major gates of the institution.
IGBERE
TV understands that when the shooting subsided, a tricycle rider,
popularly called keke was shot dead at close range, as the bullet tore
through his forehead, while another, a male was shot in the neck as he
was rushed to an unknown hospital by students.
The real reason
behind the shooting is yet to be ascertained by IGBERE TV correspondent
present at the scene of the crime. Students attributed the attack as
the handiwork of cultist, others to robbery which now seem ‘normal’ in
Oko without any proactive measure to curtail it while other unconfirmed
report said it was hired assassination.
IGBERE TV gathered
that the sporadic shooting has been witnessed for two days now, as that
of yesterday took place at the popular total filling station, which sent
market women, Okada riders and others running for safety.
The school anti cult outfit and the police station in Oko seem helpless to the shootings and killings.
