Hernan Crespo, the former Argentina forward and current Banfield Buenos Aires coach, praised Antoine Griezmann in an interview with France Football.
“At Barca we haven’t seen his best version yet,” Crespo explained of the Frenchman. “We’re talking about a player that has incredible intelligence.”
He said that Griezmann had an “incredible” World Cup and underlined the Frenchman’s capacity for understanding the game.
“We haven’t seen everything he can give yet because he needs an adaptation time. But he accepts the challenge of leaving Barcelona, a club with a completely different philosophy and he will still take some time.”
