How Nigerians Are Reacting On Social Media After FG Increased Electricity Tariff

Following the increase of electricity tarriff in the country, Nigerians have taken to social media to lament.

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission announced on Tuesday January 5, it had  approved the price hike for all (low and high energy) consumer classes, effective immediately.

Nigerians are currently lamenting on social media, saying the hike comes just two months after the government increased the electricity price in November 2020, coupled with the covid-19 disease in the country, insecurity situation in the country and high poverty rate in the country.
