How Stalker Killed His Ex-Girlfriend And Watched Porn After The Murder.

A terrified woman screamed “I know he’s going to kill me” before her stalker ex-boyfriend battered her to death, a new report revealed yesterday.

Joe Storey, 28, murdered Kerri McAuley, 32, and smeared her blood on his face before taking a horrifying selfie in her home.

The mum-of-two, from Norwich, suffered 19 injuries to her head and face and sick Storey left her to die in January 2017.

Storey was jailed for life and a domestic homicide review into the killing highlights the “massive” failings by those who failed to protect her.

The 82-page report, carried out by the Norfolk County Community Safety Partnership, highlighted how he attacked his former partners since 2008.

Their findings also show at the time of the killing three restraining orders were in place to keep Storey from contacting his ex-girlfriends.

Ms McAuley even told cops she thought Storey would kill her during an attack in July 2016 and told a friend: “I know he is going to kill me”.

In 2008, probation services carried out a risk assessment and found Storey had “the potential to inflict fatal harm upon his partner and unborn child” when he was 18.

The report also found the probation service manager who was handling his case failed to read his file and did not know about his history of domestic abuse and violence.

Ms McAuley’s mum Lesley said she was “devastated” and was left in tears after reading the report.

Storey was jailed for a minimum of 24 years after a court heard he smashed her skull “like a mosaic” before taking a photo of her blood smeared across his face.

After attacking his victim, brute Storey failed to raise the alarm and took cocaine and watched violent pornography.

Her body was found by her mother and brother, who branded Storey a “monster” following the sentencing hearing at Norwich Crown Court.
