I am Angry With SARS: Vice President Osinbajo

Vice-President  of Nigerian Yemi Osinbajo has said he is very angry about the deadly violence and corruption linked to Special anti-robbery squad.

Mr. Osinbajo’s statement came after nationwide outrage as citizens demand again for immediate dissolution of the police squad.

SARS has been blamed for killing, extortion, robbing and blackmailing of innocent Nigerian citizen across various parts of the country.

Mr. Osinbajo, per a tweet from his spokesman Laolu Akande, said he and president Muhammad Buhari are concerned about the danger SARS constitute in the country.

“I am very angry about what I see happening to young men and women who are arrested, in some cases maimed or killed by men of the police force,” Mr. Osinbajo said.
