A 57-year-old man, who gave his name as Chidi Obieze was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl.
The man, who said he hails from Egbem Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State was arrested at Oraifite, a neighbouring community, for being in the habit of defiling young girls.

From his confession in a recorded video, he said that he had been into defiling young girls for the past 10 years.
The man, who was arrested and tied by Oraifite youths, begged for leniency, saying that he was ready to stop if he was freed for the present act.
In a video circulating on social media, Obiaze said:
“I also like grown up women, but my best are little girls.
“I have been doing this for about 10 years now.”
Asked what he was doing with the kid, he said, “I was only romancing her when I was caught. I was romancing her with my private part.”
NAIJAFINIX has, however, not been able to ascertain what happened to the man afterwards.
Attempts to enquire from the State police command’s spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga if the man was handed over to the police in the area yielded no fruit as his line was unreachable as of the time of filing this report.
