The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
extends voting in 4 wards out of the 11 in Gwaram Local Government of
Jigawa State.
The extension was as a result of the failure of card readers in most parts of the state, which mostly was rectified as at yesterday and voting continued with or without card readers.
In the affected areas, it was reported that the ad hoc staff refused
to continue with the voting despite demands by agents to go on with
manual voting.
In Abia State voting was extended Ihie
Ndume, Umuahia in 22 polling units, while in Bauchi state voting was
extended and is currently ongoing in at Majidadi B ward.
