Three brothers from the royal family of Askira Uba Emirate of Borno State have been abducted by The Islamic State of West Africa Province, ISWAP.
According to PRNigeria, Mohammed Askira, 50, was kidnapped alongside his two brothers while travelling to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital after attending a function in Askira Uba town.
Sources said the three siblings are all brothers to the present Emir of Askira Uba, HRH. Dr. Abdullahi Ibn Mohammad Askirama.
The wedding fatiha of the Emir’s daughter, Fatima Mai Abdullahi, was held on Friday, November 5, at Askira Emirate palace.
