Alex Iwobi has reacted after scoring in Everton 2-1 away win over Wolves to end 37 matches goal drought in the Premier League on Tuesday evening.
The 24-year-old Nigeria international-inspired Carlo Ancelotti’s side to victory after he scored six minutes into the encounter at Molineux Stadium.
Wolves were back on level terms in the 14th minute through Ruben Neves who opened his foot and controlled a volley home from inside the box.
However, Michael Keane sealed the victory for Everton 13 minutes from time as he popped up at the back post and powerfully headed home across Rui Patricio to make it 2-1.
Super Eagles forward Iwobi who took to his social media platform to celebrates after ending his 15 months goal drought in the Premier League by saying so sweet’ to score again.
With the victory, Everton climb to fourth place on the Premier League standings with 32 points from 17 games and they are just four points adrift of new table toppers, Manchester United.
Iwobi would be hoping to take his scoring form to Villa Park where Everton are guests of Aston Villa on Sunday.
