The veteran celebrated the event on Friday, January 12, 2023, by highlighting his development on his Instagram page. In the shared photo, Kosoko was grinning broadly while posing for the camera while dressed in traditional Yoruba clothing made of wine.
Kosoko is one of Nigeria’s greatest and most renowned performers, having worked in the film industry for more than 40 years.
He said:

I celebrate my seventieth birthday because I am aware that everyone who lacks the spirit of this age would suffer from its agony. Every year l live, i grow into an even more magnificent human being. That means i am now 70 times more amazing than when i was born. I’m celebrating being 70 years old today. Wishing Prince Babajide Akanni Kosoko a Happy 70th Birthday.”
