Klopp’s initial deal at Liverpool was set to expire in the summer of 2024.
Liverpool however announced on Thursday, April that the 54-year old would stay at the club longer after extending his deal.
The new deal will see Klopp stay at the club until the summer of 2026.
According to Klopp, it “felt right” to sign a new deal, despite his initial decision to walk away from the job once his previous deal ran out.
